Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the tour meet?

Tours will meet at The New Victory Theater, 209 West 42nd Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, on top of the steps, across the street from Aladdin and next to Skechers.

Does the tour go if there is inclement weather?

If there is a light rain, drizzle or mist,  the tour will operate. If there is heavier rain or snow, we will try to reschedule.  If we are unable to do so, we will refund you.

What is your cancellation policy?

In short, as all tours are private, and we are reserving the date and time exclusively for you, we are unable to accept cancellations. Bookings are final and non refundable. We will only refund in the event of inclement weather, if we are unable to reschedule, as clarified above.

How do I make a reservation?

All reservations are made through the website. There is a calendar with up to date availability and you will receive your confirmation immediately after booking.

What are payment terms?

100%, in full, at the time of booking.  The date and time you book is blocked exclusively for you at the time of booking.

How do we commute from one location to another during the tour?

For the most part we walk.  However, as outlined on the itinerary page, there will be at least two subway rides during the tour,  at your expense.  The cost is $2.75 per person, per ride.  We suggest the subway over a cab as it is more economical and a better use of our time.  Naturally, we will take photos of you on the subway as well.

Are the photos included in the tour price?

Of course.  You will receive a photo gallery and zip file within 48 hours containing all your images. The 2 hour tour includes at least 75 photos at high resolution (about 3 – 4 MB per photo).

Will the email be too large to receive?

No, both the gallery and zip file will be like any, regular size email you receive everyday.

Will there be an opportunity to use a bathroom?

Try to take care of business before the tour.  However, if needed, we will try to find you a restroom. This will be easier in the first 30-45 minutes of the tour near Times Square and Central Park then when we are standing in the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Is the tour all about the photos?

No. All our guide/photographers are very knowledgable about NYC and can give loads of insights during the tour.  You will  leave knowing more about New York City history as well as getting ides for the  remainder  of your stay.

Will it be ok If I bring bags?

No. Please do not bring bags you do not want in the photos such as shopping bags. This will clutter the photo.

I need more information. How do I reach you?

Best to email: info@nycprivatephototours.com.  We will do our best to respond in a timely manner.
